How did the second half of this year fly by so quickly?! It’s hard to believe we are two days from Christmas and very close to saying adios to 2020. While I’m sure some of you are happy to see 2020 go, I think it is still nice to reflect on the year and some of the positive things to come of it.
If you are an avid podcast listener, I have a recommendation that will help you get into the holiday spirit. This morning I listened to an episode from The Daily podcast titled “The Year in Good News.” It was so uplifting to hear numerous people from around the world share their best moments of 2020. So if you need a good laugh and maybe even some happy tears, I encourage you to check it out.
While you are listening to the episode, preparing for a small family get-together or having a solo holiday, this Classic Chickpea Hummus is a must-make! You really can’t go wrong with a good ole’ dip for vegetables, crackers or pita. Plus, the extras can be used on a wrap or as a delicious topping for a Nourish Bowl.
You could be extra fancy and make up a full charcuterie board like I did here. Include your favourite fruits and vegetables, crackers and cheese, nuts, honey and chocolate and you have yourself a spread!
If you give this recipe a try, please let me know how it turned out and what you paired it with in the comments below. Happy Holidays!
