Sweet and Savoury Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1 lb filet of fresh salmon
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together the honey, soya sauce, lemon juice, maple syrup, garlic and ginger.
  • In a shallow bowl or Ziploc bag, coat the salmon filet in the marinade. Let it sit in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 8 hours.
  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with tin foil.
  • Place the salmon filet on the tin foil and evenly sprinkle with the red pepper flakes. Cook for 13-15 minutes or until the fish flakes when speared with a fork.
  • Serve with your choice of sides and enjoy!
