Ingredients
1/2cuphoney
2tspchili flakes
4cupsbrussels sproutsrinsed and cut in half
2tbspolive oil
1tspgarlic powder
1/2tsp each ofsalt and pepper
Feta cheese
Instructions
Hot Honey
In a small saucepan, add ½ cup of honey and 2 tsp of chili flakes. Bring to a boil and stir for 20-30 seconds.
Remove from heat and pour into a glass jar. For a more mild honey, strain out the chili flakes as you pour it into the jar.
Brussels Sprouts
Preheat the oven to 425℉ and line a baking sheet with tin foil or parchment paper.
In a large bowl, add the brussels sprouts and drizzle in the olive oil. Add the garlic powder, salt and pepper and mix until the brussels sprouts are well coated.
Pour the brussels sprouts on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 18-22 minutes.
Transfer the brussels sprouts to a serving dish. Drizzle on the hot honey and crumble feta cheese on top. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Substitutions:
Olive oil
You could also use any kind of oil that is mild in flavour and is appropriate for temperatures of 425F (ex. avocado oil)
