In a food processor or high-speed blender, add the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic and salt. Blend on high speed for 20-30 seconds.
Using a spatula, scrape down the sides of the container and blend again for another 20-30 seconds. Add water 1 tbsp at a time, blending in between until you reach the desired consistency.
Add more salt if needed.
Serve with vegetables or crackers or use as a spread. Enjoy!
