Simple Summer Hamburgers

Ingredients

lean ground beef

cup
oats

egg
1/4

white onion
diced (optional)

tsp
garlic powder
or 2 cloves of minced garlic

tsp
ketchup
1
tsp
yellow mustard
1
tsp
Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and season with salt and pepper. Mix together well.
With a spoon or your hands, form 5-6 burger patties, using up all of the mixture.
If using a BBQ
Heat the grill to medium-high heat and cook the patties 3-4 minutes on each side. This will vary depending on your preferred doneness.
If using a stove
Bring a skillet or frying pan to medium-high heat and coat with 1 tbsp cooking oil.
Place the patties on the pan and make sure to leave some room so the pan is not crowded. You may have to do this in 2 batches.
Cook the burgers for 3-4 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
Serve with your choice of toppings and enjoy!
