Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Protein Balls

Ingredients

  • Heaping 1/3 cup Medjool dates
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder OR additional oats*
  • 1 cup almonds
  • 1/3 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp water added in increments
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • In a food processor or high-speed blender, pulse all of the ingredients (except water and chocolate chips) together until well combined.
  • Add in the water 1-2 tbsp at a time until you achieve desired consistency.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Roll the batter into balls and place in an airtight container. Store in the fridge for 5-7 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months. Enjoy!

Notes

*If using oats instead of vanilla protein powder, add 1 tsp of vanilla extract to achieve the doughy flavour.
