On medium-low heat, heat up the butter until melted and then add the olive oil.
Add the minced garlic and saute for 2-3 minutes or until fragrant.
Toss in the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes and then flip. Add the lemon zest to the shrimp and continue cooking until the shrimp is completely opaque.
Season with salt, pepper and dried basil.
Serve over pasta (linguine or rice pasta pair wonderfully as they are light noodles) or salad and enjoy!
