Banana Walnut Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup large flake oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Toppings

  • 1/2 banana sliced
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 2-3 tbsp walnuts chopped
  • 1-2 tbsp shredded coconut (optional)

Instructions

  • In a small bowl add the oats, chia seeds, yogurt, milk and cinnamon. Stir until combined.
  • Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes and then stir again.
  • Store in the fridge for a minimum of 30 minutes. For best results, refrigerate 4-8 hours (or overnight).
  • Once the oats and chia seeds have absorbed the milk, give it another stir to incorporate everything together.
  • Add the toppings and enjoy!
