Soy and Sesame Chicken Marinade

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts thawed if previously frozen
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp basil dried
  • Black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a small bowl, combine lemon juice, soya sauce, sesame oil and dijon mustard. Mix well.
  • Place both chicken breasts in a greased  8x8 Pyrex dish. Add the marinade and massage it into the chicken. To enhance the flavour, let the chicken sit for 1-2 hours before cooking.
  • Sprinkle basil and ground pepper on top of the marinated chicken breasts. Place in the oven and cook for 25-30 minutes.
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oven and serve with your choice of side dish. Enjoy!
